BearShare Connection Problem

In the name of ALLAH, 

the most gracious, the most merciful

The BearShare we are talking about is (4.6.3.4) Windows XP and i dunno wether what im about to say would apply to other versions .

After Installing BearShare Completely Successfully ... the problem comes around with initiating 'startin' the program That it won't connect to the internet And the reason is that The Port is Blocked 2 sides .
How ???

1st Side : Windows FireWall

Navigate to
(Control Panel) Then (Windows FireWall) Then Choose ( Exceptions)k

Then .... We click on (Add Port) A box will appear with 2 fields and 2 choice Marks

(Control Panel) (Windows FireWall)  (Exceptions) (Add Port)

Name : BearShare

Port Number : 6346 TCP

OK

And we repeat the same act once more but this time we will choose ===> UDP

Note : You must make sure of the port number through here :s

Go to Bearshare and then (SetUp) and choose (Connection) and see the 2 fields called (Listen Port) if the numbers are the same then this is your port number that you will be using , is they are both empty then write those like i did b4 and do the same Prev. 2 steps

2nd Side : 
Router FireWall    'This Example Applies to Router Tp-Link TD 8816' And i shall help you later if u have another version or another router .

Now ... You must have access to the router 'full access' Admin or u can simpley ask ur administrator or provider , coz it Affescts Nada

First : After logining successfully to the main router page for ex. 192.168.1.1

second : Go to (Advanced SetUp) Then You Choose ( Nat )d

Third : You Pop up The Menu and choose (PCV2) THEN click on (Virtual Server) another page will open

Forth : Do as shown Below ........... Wish you luck

Start Port Number : 6346

End Port Number : 6346

Local IP Address : Your IP Adress (ex. 192.168.1.55)  Then ====> Save

Restart Your Computer

For Different Versions of routers and another routers please goto www.portforward.com you can also Search the site for the BearShare Connecting Problems .. download the PFPortChecker to make sure the ports are open and ready to use . and follow the instructions . last 2 advises to you

Be Patient With BearShare coz it will take like a half an hour or maybe an hour sometimes to fully connect to the internet but the next time will be Woooooooooo ... and don't update it coz the previous versions are the best and no limits.

also don't download Porno or use it while you are working Network with other Users coz they will no longer have internet . coz u will simply Take it all using bearshare

The Explaination can work with BitComet if u are working with Torrents and it slows u down . it is also coz of the port is blocked
